OFFICE NOW OPENED IN HOUSTON, TEXAS

Churchill's Britain has now officially opened its first US office in Houston, Texas. Jonathan decided that as he was to be based mainly in America, then the land across the pond is where he should firmly place his flag.

"Until now," Jonathan said, "we have kindly been given a number in Florida that is diverted through to a UK or US phone, depending on where I am. This new office in Houston will give Churchill's Britain the stability it needs to continue growing and expanding in America as it has been throughout this year."

The new office address is now listed on our contacts page, also with the Houston telephone number.

The office in the UK will remain open but will be managed by Mrs. Sarah Booth, who has been invited to head-up the UK side of Churchill's Britain. 'Sarah joined Churchill's Britain in 2007, and has been a valuable and integral member of the team.' Sarah was educated at Priors Field School, Godalming and went on to study Business and Marketing at Guildford. In her extensive experience in the British business world, Sarah setup and ran the Press Office on behalf of The Pier, a sister company of Pier One Imports in America.

FUTURE WEBSITE UPDATE PLANS

Churchill's Britain will be adding a bookshop to the website in November. Jonathan and others will read and review a variety of books currently available on the subject of Sir Winston Churchill.

Churchill's Britain will also be creating a link from our website to the Churchill Shop, created and run by Jonathan's cousin, Jack Churchill.

TEACHERS RESOURCES

In 2009, Churchill's Britain will offer a section exclusive to teachers and other educational establishments. 'Teachers Resources' will offer lesson plans from the lectures that Jonathan has previously given, DVD and Audio resources, downloadable activities for students, and special offers on a wider variety of resources usable in the classroom to aid with teaching the important life lessons of Sir Winston Churchill.
